Winter 2019-2020 ... K2

An international expedition team announced to climb K2 2019-20 winter season.
One of them is Mingma G Nepalian climber, who presented his chosen Route, and planned camp for winter K2 ... It will be South East route (Abruzzi)
.
He said that hopefully this year should have summit success.
If they win, then it will be his 3rd summit on K2 and First winter summit. .
3 members of this group are:
Mingma G ...Nepal
John Snorri ..Iceland
Gao Li ... China
.
Mingma Gialji climbed K2 in 2014 and 2017.
He and John Snorri climbed K2 together in 2017.
John Snorri has climbed Mt Ama Dablam and Mt Lhotse 8516m previously.
.
"Gao Li" is another member of the team and Mingma know him from 2016 during his Manaslu Expedition, After that he has climbed Everest 8848m in 2018, Lhotse (8516m) and Makalu 8463m in 2019 and was on K2 till 7800m.

Depending on their fund, they will try to add 2-3 more Nepalese Sherpa and Pakistani Climber to make the climb successful.

On August 25, the famous Polish climber Andrzej Bargiel , will go to Kathmandu to realize his main task - the Everest Ski Challenge

one year ago has passed since Andrzej’s impressive success in the K2 ski challange project

The date of the trip is not accidental - autumn is the time when other expeditions do not take place in Everest due to snowy weather, but these are the best conditions for skiing. The planned expedition will last about five weeks. the end of expedition will be at the end of September 2019

.In addition, Andrzej’s project also has an environmental aspect, aimed at informing the public about the problem of climate change and environmental pollution, the consequences of which did not pass by even the highest mountains of the planet - the Himalayas; and at the same time, the project intends to show the true, raw beauty of this unique region from different perspectives.

In the event that Andrzej’s project succeeds, he will become the first person in history who climbed Mount Everest and descended by ski without using supplemental Oxygen!

Naranjo de Bulnes and moon

The Naranjo de Bulnes known as Picu Urriellu, is a limestone peak dating from the paleozoic era
It located in Asturias, and It's first ascent was on 1904 by Spanish Pedro Pidal

It has an altitude of 2,529 metres and it can be considered the best-known summit of Spain, especially the 550m high vertical wall of the west face.

First ever ascent of Link Sar

few hours ago ... The team of American climbers Chris Wright , Graham Zimmerman , Mark Richeyand Steve Swenson made the first ever ascent to the Pakistani peak Link Sar ( 7041 meters)

Now the team is on the descent... More details coming soon

Previously, they already tried to make the first ascent to this mountain, in the expedition of 2017, however, the ascent was interrupted due to bad weather
In 2015, British climbers Andy Houseman and Jonathan Griffith traveled the Fever Pitch route to the Western peak of the Link Sar massif , however, the main peak of Mount Sar mountain, 7041 meters high, lying about one kilometer from the Western peak remained unconquered
