"The summit for K2 should begin early Wednesday, July 17, 2019, on both routes, the Česen and Abruzzi. Ropes are set to the respective Camp 4 on both routes
I expect to see 50 to 75 summits on Wednesday, then 30-50 on Thursday and 10-20 on Friday. After a break, the following week should see another 20-30 summits bringing the season total on K2 to over 100 – a record"

Last news of 3x2x8000 project

Spanish renowned climber Sergi Mingote with 3x2x8000 project who wanted to summit Gasherbrum1 as his last mountain of project, two days ago had reached camp 2 (6416 m) of Gasherbrum I and wanted to continue to camp 3, but now for unexplained reasons, his trackers shows that he is descending towards base camp. Apparently he couldn't solve the problem
